      Our surface is chemically inert so that all present methods of water purification will have no effect. It is common knowledge a PH of 7.4 is corrosive to anything made of cement and all pool water purification chemicals are also just as corrosive. These corrosives dissolve the carbonates from the pool surface to leave a rough/sand surface and loosen the tiles.
